Business Immigration Consultation FAQs
No. For business immigration matters we only offer paid consultations. Sponsor licence applications, Global Business Mobility routes and compliance issues are complex. They often require a detailed understanding of your business structure and business's specific needs.
You are welcome to contact us via our enquiry form or email with a brief outline of your enquiry and your business's circumstances. We will then confirm whether a business immigration consultation is appropriate.
For most businesses it is helpful for at least one decision-maker (such as a director, owner or senior manager) to attend, together with any person who will be responsible for HR or immigration compliance (for example the proposed Authorising Officer or SMS Level 1 User if it is sponsor licence related enquiry).
We are happy to meet more than one representative, provided everyone understands that the consultation is confidential legal advice to the business and not to individual employees in their personal capacity.
Yes. Angelov Solicitors is regulated by the Law Society of Scotland. Our firm’s membership number is 67436, and we are fully authorised to provide legal services in the UK immigration and nationality law.
All legal advice is delivered by our experienced immigration solicitor, Filip Angelov, who has over 9 years experience in UK immigration law, and fluent in Bulgarian language.
You can also speak with our trainee solicitor, Xinhui Lai, who is fluent in Mandarin, Chinese.
Your case will be handled only by a qualified solicitor.
We treat every application as if it were our own, carefully planned, thoroughly evidenced, and strategically presented. Our commitment is to deliver the best possible application for every client we represent.
We do not review substantial documentation during the consultation.
However, if you have received a refusal letter, rejection, or civil penalty notice, we will examine those documents to understand the context and advise accordingly.
Our general business immigration consultation is for businesses that need advice on:
- which immigration route is most appropriate (for example Skilled Worker, Global Business Mobility, business visitors);
- specific sponsor management system (SMS) questions;
- civil penalty issues or Home Office visits;
- right to work checks and compliance;
- other one-off business immigration enquiry.
Our business consultation fee is £250, payable in advance. This includes a full hour with a qualified solicitor, during which we assess your situation and provide clear legal advice. This fee is fixed and does not change based on the complexity of your enquiry.
If your business has not previously held a sponsor licence and you are looking for an assessment and advice on applying, please see our Sponsor Licence Assessment and Advice Package.
