Xinhui Lai is a dual-qualified solicitor, admitted in Scotland and in England and Wales. She practises UK immigration law at Angelov Solicitors and has a multidisciplinary background in both music and law. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, an LLB from the University of Glasgow, and an LLM from the University of Strathclyde.

Xinhui joined the firm in March 2024, completed her traineeship with Angelov Solicitors, and has since qualified as a solicitor. She has experience in a broad range of UK immigration matters. Her work includes assisting with EU Settlement Scheme applications and appeals, family immigration applications and citizenship applications.

Xinhui also assists with tribunal cases and is familiar with the procedural aspects of UK immigration appeals.

Xinhui is committed to helping clients navigate complex legal issues with clarity. She takes a structured, practical approach and focuses on identifying realistic solutions.
